Margery Daniels writes and illustrates her own work, headlined by an ongoing independent project called "NightSide." The site had to do double duty: read as a real portfolio for a working illustrator (comics, novels, process work) and function as a lightweight commission-intake front — an always-visible "Commission status: OPEN" signal, a clear nav across Bio / Comics / Novels / NightSide / Commissions, and an embedded channel link for behind-the-scenes updates.
Protecting original work mattered a lot here, so ownership and "do not repost" messaging is treated as first-class content, not fine print.
