<!-- client site: illustrator portfolio + commissions -->
A working artist's home for comics, novels, and open commissions.
Margery is a comic book artist looking to promote her current work alongside where she's headed next — dipping her toes into novel cover art and building out her personal project, "NightSide." She also wanted her YouTube channel front and center for more visibility, so juggling all of those threads without diluting any of them was the biggest challenge. The site had to do double duty: read as a real portfolio for a working illustrator (comics, novels, process work) and function as a lightweight commission-intake front — an always-visible "Commission status: OPEN" signal, a clear nav across Bio / Comics / Novels / NightSide / Commissions, and an embedded channel link for behind-the-scenes updates.
Protecting original work mattered a lot here, so ownership and "do not repost" messaging is treated as first-class content, not fine print.
For more creativity, and to tie the whole look together, I built a custom animation and a handful of other bespoke design assets just for the site.
