<!-- client site: author + shop, content-heavy layout -->
An author site for cryptozoology's least camera-shy expert.
Grover Green is a cryptozoologist looking to make a name for himself — a former researcher who wants to promote his work to others in the field and reach the public while still coming across as credible. The site had to carry that personality (the tagline is, unapologetically, "Believe in Bigfoot") while still functioning as a legitimate press kit and storefront. It leads with a hero built around the tagline, a "Discover" section for cryptozoology news and articles, credibility signals (media mentions), and a shop section for book releases, then closes with a media/contact path for interview requests.
The build problem here was mostly editorial: a lot of content types (news, books, press) had to sit on one page without turning into a wall of text, while still reading as a real author's professional home rather than a novelty site. It's also the first site I built for this portfolio — the one that got the whole practice started.
